I didn't.
I shoulda played Matt Ryan.
Yet I'm up 2 points with Michael Thomas left and he has no one.

Would you bench Michael Thomas ( scared that the NFL will adjust some scores and change the output of the game ).

Brees needs to chill the bleep out or I am going to lose in the playoffs. Had a huge lead before this mess. Crap.

Why did most fantasy leagues make QB TDS worth 4? I know it’s ‘fantasy’ football, but it devalues the position most important to success.

Since the switch to PPR and this rule change, I have not enjoyed playing nearly as much. Probably bc my pea-sized brain can’t do the analytics on all those player combinations to draft successfully.

And, Kareem Hunt calling out teammates.....lol.

Dude was released from super bowl contending team bc he’s an idiot.

And wasn’t able to help the team that took him in for half a year bc he’s an idiot. Not that he would be able to the way Kitchens calls a game offensively, but that’s a different discussion.

Stfu.

Lost in work league by 8.
He had Brees, I had Kamara - thanks for the shit season Kamara.
Other league ( 13 years running ) back in the finals for the first time since 2012, playing the guy I lost to in the finals in 2012 ( he had Dez Bryant go off in that game for 220 yards and 2 TDs ).

Even shitty QBs get 15+ TDs a year. Making those worth the same amount as when an RB or a WR get a TD, when those guys consider it an amazing season to get 10 of them, would greatly overvalue QBs.

Nine RB/WRs had 10+ TDs.

Thirty QBs had 10+ TDs, with 15 having more TDs than the highest RB/WR total (McCaffrey at 18). Matt Stafford had more TDs than McCaffrey and he only played 8 games.

If QB TDs were worth 6 then it wouldn't matter who else you had if you ended up with a QB that got 30+ TDs. The last league I played in with WB TDs at 6 points, you pretty much penciled in whoever had the best QB as the high point winner, no matter who they had. That's no fun at all.

Doesn't PPR for RB and WR negate the differential in QB TDs?

We do .5 point PPR and the only positional players with as many total points as the 10th place QB in my league (Carson Wentz) are Christian McCaffrey, Michael Thomas, Dalvin Cook and Ezekiel Elliot so no, apparently not.

I used to think this way b/c I considered switching over to 4 points per TD but if you think about it, the points still bubble up to all the QBs so every QB averages out around the same -- and it doesn't giving rushing QB's as much as an advantage.

To 'negate' some of the high scoring QB TD's, I implemented bonuses for rushing and receiving yards.

Points per reception I think is almost dumber than giving kickers 8 points for a 50 yarder.

We have some of those bonuses as well but QBs still rule scoring. It's better than it was but like I said, our Top 10 WBs all outscored all but the most elite RBs and WRs.

I'm fine with that as it reflects actual football.
The best QB's make more of an impact than the best RB's.
Case in point, McCaffrey, Chubb, Henry and Cook.

QBs with more points than Nick Chubb and DeAndre Hopkins: Kyler Murray, Phillip Rivers, Matt Ryan and Josh Allen.

Murray is making a big impact on that trash of a roster. I would have no issues saying he’s more important to his team than Chubb. Without Matt Ryan Atlanta would be 1-15 ( which is probably better for them this year ). Josh Allen could have the Bills winning the AFC East.

Rivers you got me. Chargers had a lot of close games that they didn’t win. But also over the last month they’ve crashed and burned.

Point is, running backs aren’t nearly as important to today’s game anymore ( though you still want a good one ). It’s reflected in the market. Leveon fought hard to get a contract that was one of the highest paid for running backs and it doesn’t compare to a quarterback salary and ended up being a mistake.

It’s Mostert v Melvin Gordon again.
I don’t think I can sit Gordon at home v the Raiders.

That sux. I was wondering why it wasn’t more speculated early in week, but no reason to play him at all today. Out of conference game does not matter one way or other for Titans.

I just need 3.5 points from Tyreek Hill for the back to back to back title. Let's go Chiefs!
