It's only a matter of time before the bad-faith R messaging machine describes this
Trump-favorable protection as a bug (not a feature).
https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrum ... 1732015665
Law Professor John Yoo: “It's pretty extraordinary...half of the jury pool already says that they're so biased against President Trump that they can't serve on the jury…”
Funny that they assume that they are all biased against him and that none would admit to being biased FOR him.

Not to mention that getting the hell off this jury is a prudent play for the safety of oneself and one’s family.

100%. Odds are pretty low that the jury pool names don't get leaked and these people find themselves getting death threats.

The fact that the jurors fear for their own and their family's safety says that Trump should already be in prison.

It is critical to understand that Trump getting special treatment
because of behavior that sure looks like classical stochastic terrorism, is in fact - on its own, regardless of whether harm results at all - dangerously corrosive to the rule of law.

I say this as a service provider: I cannot imagine what motivates the bootlicking servility that would go into actually carrying out the task of finding, printing, stapling and most likely highlighting all of those things, all to give this broken husk of a cartoon mobster a prop for a diaper-filling exercise.

And naming those sources, as if they had some kind of clout.

Man apparently sets himself on fire outside courthouse where Trump is on trial

Fairly clear that Trump is purposefully violating his gag order to draw sanctions, which he will then immediately appeal as unconstitutional to the federal courts.
Just burn the rube money, man. Burn it all.

Purposefully?
That might be giving him way too much credit.
Cuz I’m just an idiot, but I never sensed much “purpose” to his MO.
Maybe it’s there. But maybe it’s just him still, even to this day, operating under some stream-of-consciousness “speak mah mind” sort of mentality, and worrying about the rest after the fact.
That, and despite all the trouble he’s found himself in, he still seems to have no sense of consequence, and still seems to think of the legal system as to his benefit.
Cuz, he’s somehow still hardly faced consequence! And cuz the system still is to his benefit?
If only he got caught doing something truly nefarious, like, selling loose cigs…

It sounds like a lot, and it is, but it's not nearly enough to compensate for the price we've paid as a nation and society for having to put up with this spoiled, perpetually aggrieved, malignant narcissistic man-child.
Thanks, (as in "fuck you"), Republicans.

Not to mention - not that I would have any expectation that rubes would follow this, let alone care about it - all of these hopeless tangents and delays and appeals are of course using up finite resources for investigating, prosecuting and bringing justice to OTHER real criminals.

I thought it was very odd that Trump posted the other day that this trial is in fact about election interference. Not “hush money.” Sort of undercuts the eventual downplaying he will do, of a conviction on election interference.
