Not for me it doesn’t. I’m as excited about the USMNT program as I’ve ever been and I’ve followed fairly closely since 1998. (Watched 1994 WC but not really anything else). The future is crazy bright and we’re as good, as young and as deep as we’ve ever been. If things keep going right, I truly believe a Top 4 finish is a realistic goal for 2026.
But, the schedule is the schedule and CONCACAF is CONCACAF. A lot of marginal to rally bad teams. The big thing I would change is to stop playing friendlies against other CONCACAF teams and the play friendlies against Top 40-50 teams.

Kansas City's summer time sports are both shit.

Not sure if this has been discussed here yet, but this would be a lot of fanfare for bad news. I think they know something. Huge for KC.

Yeah I can't imagine them scheduling the lieutenant governor, mayor, and bid director to all speak after the announcement if it wasn't going to be good news.

It’s a throw away game, but good for Ferreira. 4 goals is 4 fucking goals

Yes. Could have used some of that against Uruguay. But good to see him finally find the back of the net.

Loved playing in weather like this...hate watching in weather like this.
Let's not get Pulisic hurt in this game please.

This field is trash.
It's not just the weather.
It's just a trash field.

Yeah, this is so bad that the end result (from an evaluation standpoint) is basically meaningless.
Fucking CONCACAF Special!

Well, yes and no.
You should be able to at least tie El Salvador with this lineup, regardless of the field conditions.
These are all guys who have spots or are up for spots in the World Cup.

Any momentum we have built recently will be gone if we don't win this game against a crappy opponent. Lots of good players in our lineup.

I loved Lalas as a player, but he's such an emotional clown as an analyst

Eh.
I would still feel fine going into the cup with a loss here.
Shit conditions on the road.
England just lost by a shit load at home to Hungary.
