I do think we have gotten lucky this season but certainly not 8-8 lucky.
Maybe 14-3 would be a more appropriate record if one or two of those breaks did not go our way.

If/when the Chiefs lose, many other cities might burn from the celebrations hoarded of fans will have that the evil Chiefs have fallen.

Or so the internet might try to make us believe.

looking at this another way, other teams choked when they had the opportunity to win

does that say more about them, or more about the Chiefs?

Agreed. Many of those "lucky breaks" weren't luck but rather skill on the part of KC and most weren't on the very last play of the game, giving time for the Chiefs to react to them and still win. Social media has just dumped rocket fuel into the addled brains of haters. At least they are getting a chance to work on their video editing skills trying to make their crappy cases. Always nice to get some reps on tech skills.

I used to hate on and think all kinds of things on the Patriots. It''s actually kind of nice to be on the other end of it because it means we're winning.

The Chiefs are built for winter being a very balanced team. My only concern right now is Butker. He has the injury rehab and the karma penalty for being so political. Kickers are head cases and you just do not need extra thoughts swimming in their natural birth canal heads.

But without things like Deflategate and Spygate on our resume or our owner getting happy endings in a strip mall massage parlor.

And Mahomes is just way more likable than Brady.

yeah, patriots volunteered plenty of ammo for the rest of the league…Chiefs not so much (except for the Swift-hating misogynists)

Yes, but Mahomes gets docked serious points due to his brother and wife. So, it's probably a wash.

Man, Aaron Hernandez doesn’t even make the cut. (Not sure if that’s a pun or not)

Of course, for the Chiefs, besides Tyreek and Kareem Vol 1 (both before Chiefs were good), players have been decently clean.

Their families, on the other hand. Ooof. But, families be familying.

Yes Mahomes brother and wife do dock us points.

Andy’s son not ideal either.

Swift was too much last season as she was shown every single time Kelce did something but it’s now just a one to two time a game deal.

That said Mahomes family does not makes Mahomes v Brady a wash.

Brady was pompous pretty early on and was anti fun. And when deflate gate happened he pretended he was above the NFL. Then he pushed his coaches respect by forcing his trainer’s philosophy on the team. No one cares about your diet and how you don’t eat strawberries or night shades. Live a little.

I think Tom and Bill are the GOATs but they are opposite of likable.

Yeah, as a Chief fan he is.
As a person in the world, it's not even close. Brady > Mahomes. By a lot.

Mahomes is fun and loves the sport.
He’s gracious to put praise on his teammates. He’s basically Steph with fewer in game celebrations.

The New England radio shows up here have done segments on this and in the end they just say, there’s really nothing I can put my finger on, he’s on too many commercials and he gets preferential treatment ( whatever ) so I just don’t like him now. But then eventually they admit it’s likely just jealousy.

If New England radio hosts can come to terms with this ( and New England HATES KC and Mahomes ) I think that can cover the rest of America sans maybe Broncos and Raiders fans.

1. I agree Mahomes is fun and loves the sport.
2. I agree he’s gracious - to/and puts praise on his teammates.
3. I wouldn't at all doubt that people in the Boston/New England area are jealous of Mahomes and his success.
4. My guess is the majority of diehard football fans today like Mahomes more than they like/d Brady.
5. I still stand by my statement - As a person in the world, it's not even close. In terms of "likability" Brady > Mahomes. By a lot.
Hey, I could be wrong. Maybe I should have prefaced my statement by saying - I strongly believe?
