People seem to quickly forget how bad Hardman sucks.

Freaking backup QB hangs 17 before halftime. Chiefs are done. Burn it down.
I'll fess up. I was a bad fan and expected the Chiefs to loose today.

Meh, it's a message board. A place to vent and be frustrated. We don't gets scored for accuracy here.

It's a good problem to have.
But expecting to be frontrunners/favorites every year isn't realistic. There are a lot of really good QBs in the league right now. If Mahomes and Reid can get 2 more SBs before the run is over then I'd say that's a success.

I don’t think the Chiefs can get the 2 seed or fall to the 4 so sit Pacheco completely and play the other starters max a quarter.
What WRs even play if we rest our starters?
Also, this weekend we cheer for Buffalo.

The receiving corp has been bad but that's not the only issue with the offense. The o-line has not been good in pass protection or run blocking. Both areas improved a bit this last game but are still below par. Mahomes has gotten so used to being pressured on pass plays that he's often letting the ball go early because he's expecting pressure even when it's not there yet. The times protection has been good, no receiver is getting separation or demonstrated the ability to out-battle the defender on a difficult catch.
Mahomes has lost confidence in his teammates for good reason and it shows. Still, they showed signs of improvement against Cinci and if they can figure out the red zone they could still make some noise in the playoffs.

I...think if Buffalo beats Miami, we get Miami? And if Buffalo loses, it's still somewhat unlikely we get Buffalo?
Either way, the what-to-do question is complicated by Kelce's yards. I wouldn't play anyone important this coming weekend, except for Rice. But do you tell Kelce NO if he wants to keep his 1,000 yard streak alive? And what do you do if Mahomes wants to be the one to get him the ball?
(I know my answers, but I don't have to deal with the
people.)
The preseason style, play-em-a-quarter thing isn't as easy as it sounds because of roster limits. You put guys you need at risk if you compromise depth by earmarking multiple spots on the active roster for "vanity" guys.

OK if Buffalo looses and Jax beats Ten and Pit beats Bal, the Bills are out. This all depends on if the Ravens rest their starters and even if they do, they might still beat a Mason Rudolph PIT.
But if PIT wins in that scenario, I think the Bills are the 7 and we would get IND/HOU. So actually go MIA.

If you could guarantee me bad weather next weekend, I'd actually prefer to see Miami over Buffalo. I think Buffalo can absolutely beat Baltimore (and I'm not afraid of Tua trying to spin it in shit weather)...clearing the path for another conference championship game here.

I originally thought we would likely see Buffalo if they lost to Miami and that was why I wanted them to win.
I don’t want to see Buffalo—I think they are trending up and Miami down.

Well, now I think I am actually cheering for Miami to win this weekend and for whatever has to happen for Buffalo to drop down to the 7 seed. If Buffalo wins and gets the 2 seed, KC has to go to Buffalo if they beat Miami at home.

I think that the only way Baltimore gets Buffalo is if Buffalo drops down to the 7 seed and then beats the 2 seed in the first round.

I think that's a very plausible scenario.
