That is because Mahomes and company are currently playing and winning and Brady gets to talk about ( and not play in ) one game a week.

He’s gracious to put praise on his teammates. He’s basically Steph with fewer in game celebrations.

The New England radio shows up here have done segments on this and in the end they just say, there’s really nothing I can put my finger on, he’s on too many commercials and he gets preferential treatment ( whatever ) so I just don’t like him now. But then eventually they admit it’s likely just jealousy.

If New England radio hosts can come to terms with this ( and New England HATES KC and Mahomes ) I think that can cover the rest of America sans maybe Broncos and Raiders fans.
1. I agree Mahomes is fun and loves the sport.
2. I agree he’s gracious - to/and puts praise on his teammates.
3. I wouldn't at all doubt that people in the Boston/New England area are jealous of Mahomes and his success.
4. My guess is the majority of diehard football fans today like Mahomes more than they like/d Brady.
5. I still stand by my statement - As a person in the world, it's not even close. In terms of "likability" Brady > Mahomes. By a lot.
Hey, I could be wrong. Maybe I should have prefaced my statement by saying - I strongly believe?
i don’t know if you’re right or wrong, but i do know that there are a hell of a lot of people that despise brady (probably more than bron), both for being a villain while playing and for otherwise just being a douche

Brady was pompous pretty early on and was anti fun. And when deflate gate happened he pretended he was above the NFL. Then he pushed his coaches respect by forcing his trainer’s philosophy on the team. No one cares about your diet and how you don’t eat strawberries or night shades. Live a little.

I think Tom and Bill are the GOATs but they are opposite of likable.

I like Brady and Mahomes both.

I never disliked Brady at all while he played. And that is coming from someone who has the Colts as my secondary team because my best friend since I was 3 (went to preschool through college together) was born in Indy and we've been to a ton of Colts games (and Jayhawk bball games) together (the best being @ Green Bay, what a place to see a game!). And Brady used to own Peyton in the playoffs.

Yes. 100%.
Kind of reminds me of the New York Yankees in that regard.

This is something that makes me say what I do/did about him.
https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/330 ... lobal-icon

Also, I have a strong feeling there are more women in the world who like Tom Brady than Patrick Mahomes.
To play semantics in pdubs favor - yes, but Mahomes can be (is?) a more likable" person. I won't dispute that. I just feel more people in the world like Brady than Mahomes.

JFC!
Can I move on from this already? Fuck Tom Brady!
This is the Chiefs 2024 (now 2025) thread and let's get back to discussing Chiefs playoff football!!!!

Ok, back to the CHIEFS! Who do they face in the first game? If it goes chalk it'll be Houston. Otherwise it's anyone's guess. Team I least want to face in second game is Buffalo.

"If it goes chalk it'll be Houston"? Ummm. Maybe seeding wise but the Chargers are favored.
The two teams I probably care the least about in the playoffs.

I'll predict (and probably be wrong) that the Chargers win and the Chiefs will face the Chargers and beat them by at least 10 points.

I'd prefer to see Houston but I think Gutter is right - I think the Chargers win and they'll be our 2nd round opponent.

I'd put the Chargers at a 60% chance to win, Broncos at a 15% chance and Steelers at a 10% chance.

Last year when Denver and Russell Wilson played a better Buffalo team, they beat them on the road 24-22. Denver is going to beat the Bills. Nix has slightly better passing and TD numbers than Allen. Making Andy's strategy perfect. Will have to staunch the short passing game to win.

Chalk refers to bracket seeding and not odds.

Between the Chargers and Houston I really don't care. I think the Chiefs will take care of business either way. I just don't like playing division rivals in the playoffs.

Should I know who, what, Orrifi is, because Google thinks I misspelled "orifice".

He was being cute and used it as a plural of orifice.

It was in video you posted. Do you watch videos you post? If not, that’s kinda weird.

Got it. In your definition.
In mine and in horse racing wagering - it refers to the favorite.

Yes, I do watch (nearly all) the videos I post, including the one in question. But, admittedly, it's almost never the only thing I'm doing when a video is on.
(Which is not to imply that I believe in the myth of "multitasking", i.e., doing more than one thing at a time.)

In my defense... Perhaps if you hadn't misspelled, there is only one "r" in orifice, and capitalized it, creating the impression it represented a proper noun*, i.e., a person, place, etc., I might not have been led astray?

IMO, the responsibility of communicating rests almost wholly on the back of the person trying to communicate. (It's why I don't bother linking health-related articles from medical journals, and use the MSM instead.)

That being the case, I find your attitude wanting**, and misdirected.
