Are you familiar with The Google?

The House voted to impeach on 12/18/19.

They transmitted the articles of impeachment on 1/15/20.

You seriously expecting trumps people to add something like that accurately?

I tuned into Fox this morning to see for myself, but today they’re coming strong with the “dems have such a flimsy case based on hearsay, no real facts, just trying to overturn an election,” sigh.

Things like this, and Trump's "quiet part out loud" outburst about withholding materials from the Democrats, are examples of why an extra day of trial was a win for the House managers. Every single day carries with it a significant chance of deeper incrimination and increasing absurdity vis a vis dismissal/acquittal.

To this proceeding? Perhaps not. But I'm still hopeful it'll matter someday (in a way other than "see, ya'll fucked.").

I see Trump as being difficult to beat in 2020. Especially with the Democrats choices.

The "overturn an election" thing is really something. Those who say this apparently have trouble understanding that if Trump is removed, Pence is President? What have they got against the poor guy?

Well, not only that, but...an election is a Constitutional process that is not, in and of itself, superior to or to the exclusion of the Constitutional remedy of impeachment.

It makes me exceedingly nervous that there are recent GOP (see Wisconsin) and Russian (see Russia) precedents of an outgoing party/person leaving booby traps on the way out. I will also believe that Trump would admit defeat when I see it. Things could very well get much worse before they get better.

I would love to see a Bernie/The Waitress ticket. Their slogan could be “Like, free stuff for everybody, y’all!” It would be epic.
