I worked at one restaurant where the owners decided that they needed to take checks. If the check bounced, they took it out of the servers paycheck. That policy did not last long.

Of course it would be "criminal" but if the owner/s took money out of MY paycheck for someone else bouncing a check, I would make sure I "confiscated" that amount of money worth of the restaurant's property. Sure I would probably get fired but I would like to see them take me to court over it.

Another day in the life of Grandma.....
I live in an apartment and have multiple neighbors who constantly slam their front door.
There have been a FEW times when I have screamed STOP SLAMMING YOUR FUCKING DOOR!
It does no good.
Several years ago I went to building management and told them about this. They actually put notes under our doors to tell people to please be respectful and mindful of their neighbors and not to slam their doors. At the time, it seemed to work - for a while.
This morning a neighbor must have gone in and out of their apartment 10 times in a half hour.
SLAMMED their door each time.
I had enough and yet again screamed, PLEASE STOP SLAMMING YOUR FUCKING DOOR. At least I said please.
About 1-2 minute/s later I got a knock on my door. One of my neighbors asked me why I feel the need to scream. I laughed in his face. I said, "I screamed ONCE and why do you have a problem with my screaming but not with people slamming their door"? He responded, "We have to slam our doors for them to shut". I laughed again. I showed him how I am able to close my door without slamming it. He looked at me like I told/showed him the secret to life.
I know I am a complete asshole but how big of an asshole move would it be for me to put a sign by the elevators telling people that I am tired of their slamming their doors and if they can't figure out how NOT to slam their door/s - I will happily give them a hands on demonstration on how NOT to slam their door when closing it.

Obviously it's very annoying to me.
