We did get pretty fortunate there with a couple plays. The redo of third down didn’t help us in the end but the pass interference on the last drive was pretty iffy. I think the officials also missed a hold.
The push out of bounds was definitely a penalty though.

Hooked him and held him though. MVS was really the guy to stop and they tried everything

I wonder what percentage of the trashiest Bengals fans are also UK basketball fans?

Look at a map, dude. They are an hour from Lexington, KY. That's like being surprised KU fans cheer for the Chiefs.

Ugh. Never fails with you.
I am well aware of their geographic locations. And I posted a fucking map with it all broken down.
My point was, Ohio does trashy just fine on their own without needing the help of UK fans specifically (Louisville is an hour away too). Ever been to Cincinnati? It's kinda trashy. And by kinda, I mean very.
I get it. You're a little wired and hyped up from a weekend of victories.

Their social media behavior has nothing to do with their physical location on this earth. You get stuck on the weirdest things.
The social media behavior of the loudest end of the Bengals fanbase was remarkably similar to the social media behavior of the loudest end of the UK hoops fanbase. So I am guessing that a pretty good chunk of them are the same people. It was merely a comment about the likely cross section of fans. I remember a lot of UK/Cincy people hitting the UK @ KU game in AFH and then the AFCCG at Arrowhead last season.

Weird flex.
Mizzou fans make up a decent chunk of KC fans....so there's that.
On to the superbowl!

Lots of bangles fans here. They are saying the refs gave the game to the Chiefs.

If that extra third down led to points, I wouldn’t blame them.

Only credit I give to those people is that they found a way not to blame the Bengals for their loss and not to give credit to the Chiefs for their win.
My worthless opinion, the refs helped and hurt both teams at various times of the game.
Anyways, is this the first time the two teams playing in the Super Bowl both had/have Black starting QBs?

The refs didn't "give" the game to the Chiefs.
BUT it was nice for a change for the inevitable mistakes that happen nearly EVERY game to go our way for once in an elimination situation. We've spent many nights blaming the refs too. There are bad call throughout the game during every game. Last night was no different.
I don't need any validation from Bengals fans. That's sports. We won. They lost.
In the words of Draymond Green: "They suck, yup. We won, yup. Going to the superbowl, yup. They not, nope".
Or something like that.

I still think, ultimately, you try to catch the punts - despite all the awfulness, I think there still is an advantage to doing so.
But if anyone is within x number of yards + y more because our special teams suck : fair catch.
This.

Same thing gets said by the losing fans in every game of every sport. Kansas City had a TD and an INT taken off the board by calls that could have been ignored. There was only one holding call last night that was borderline and it went against the Chiefs to lose a TD, the rest that were called were egregious and almost always called. And the early contact by Cook was probably comparable to a number of hits that were similarly early but that weren't called.
KC is the team that had the two most impactful calls go against them. There is no reason to believe that Mahomes wouldn't have simply thrown a 15 yard out route on the next play of that late hit wasn't called.

I'd bet the UK contingent only makes up small % of their fan base but I'd also bet they make up a large % of their fans who were assholes on social media all week. That's all I was saying.
Third Super Bowl in five years for KC is truly amazing. It is going to be a really fun next two weeks with all the build up. The Kelce brothers are going to be hilarious and KC needs the full two weeks to heal so this may be the first time I was happy for the week off leading up to the Super Bowl.
