Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

Well, maybe not the best post to say "proof not everything [ insert whomever you intend ] posts sucks" when the subject of the video is about something sucking.

thinking about this exchange more…
ultimately, on some higher level, the contents of that video are kinda why the other thread even exists
we have this awesome resource, to our knowledge unmatched in the universe, that supports this amazing, complex assemblage of life…
…and we can’t help but continue to shit all over it
and for what?
some arbitrary idea of wealth and/or power? (ideas and statuses that will be gone in a few hundred years “at best”)

I dunno if it’s even “critiques of Christian nationalism.”
It was mostly just sharing things Christians say and do on public media.

We always hear these correlations between mental health and social media
But what about like, mental health and Excel and Outlook and such?

what about them?
do they, by their nature, lead users to compare themselves with altered views of reality?
do they employ algorithms to get you to use the software excessively?
