Naw, I just don’t get tiny little boners watching oiled up dancers pretending to fight.

Watching Dick Van Dyke Show before heading to bed. Best sitcom in teevee history.

Kind of watched a little bit of the Eras tour last night.

Kind of didn’t completely hate it.

We watched "The Program" over the weekend. Fucking hell, the money parents are spending while allowing untrained handlers to "fix" their "troubled" kids.

My 10 year old has watched it many times so I am sure that I have seen all of it in various snips. Not my musical preference at all but I can why people like her and her music. My girls all love her.

The stage presence is a tad much, but go figure the Swifties gobble it up.

some of her melodies and hooks and such can actually be catchy tho

The whole time I thought, man how rad would this tune be if Phish jammed it out…

It’s a lot of fun. Very VERY Wes Anderson-esque.

I knew a set of brothers back when I lived in Michigan whose parents shipped them off to a boarding school like that due to their poor behavior and it turned out to be pretty sick as far as abuse and brutal treatment. I had moved away from the area before they returned but my friends said they were pretty fucked in the head when they got back and that it definitely did not "fix" anything at all. Scary stuff.

We started watching the Netflix version of "One Piece" yesterday. We ate Thanksgiving dinner last year with our friends out in the Empire. Their son Jacob plays the character Usopp in the show and we met him at dinner. We like Jacob, so thought we should give it a go.

The jury is still out.

Annie's student interns at the college love the show. The jury is still out on most of them as well.

Just finished On The Waterfront.
Great movie. Carl Molden plays a bad ass priest. Plus Brando got with Eva Marie Saint. Not too shabby.

Also watched the new Roadhouse. Meh. I didn't hate it, but it's no where near as epic as the original.

Original Roadhouse is a cult classic. It’s not a great movie by any means but its time-and-place makes it an epic. It was the first movie I watched with my then girlfriend on VHS (tape borrowed from the corner bodega) the first time I stayed over at her place. It was her pick!! Lots of gratuitous nudity which adds to the status of the movie.

I think the only nudity in the new version is some dude's ass. Which makes the new version less epic.

Yeah, just finished the 5 available episodes out there. I assume it is a current series and a new episode will come out weekly. I have really enjoyed it so far as I love Kate Winslet. Her side-mouth talking is annoyingly Jeff Goodman-like but that is the only thing I have not enjoyed. Funny and unique, it's been great so far.
