Could be. It's insane how many there are on each window.
I am planning on going for a bike ride in about an hour but my concern is these fuckers are all around the lake front area today. I have no desire to eat them or get them in my eye/s.
Yes, sunglasses are an option as is keeping my mouth closed.
Here is an example of how my mind works. All of a sudden I started to wonder....
Are they possibly a product of "bio-terrorism"?
What if I were to eat them? Would it be good for me? Could they possible make me immune from the Coronavirus or some other infectious "disease"?
If an abundance of them "bit" me, what might happen?

BINGO! I think.
Nice thing is I think the entire Midge fly population in Chicago may be on my windows.
I didn't notice a single one on my 3 hour bike ride.

I don't know but my guess is they taste like chicken. White meat.
I had my window open this morning and one ended up in my coffee. I was too big of a pussy to suck it down.

Strongest Beer in the world sells out in one day...
add Scottish and German brewers, and what do you get?
Strength in Numbers, 57.8% ABV
https://foxnews.com/food-drink/stronges ... k-together
(but, a Scottish brewer has produced an uncarbonated “beer” that is 67.5% ABV...Snake Venom)

Can that even be called beer. Yeast is killed off at about 18% alcohol, so that has to be distilled.

Not that I disagree with you 99 - but here's what the article says:
"The hyper-strong beers are created through a process called “fractional freezing” which is used to create Eisbock beers, according to the report. The beer is chilled to a temperature that freezes the water but not the alcohol."
Seems like a lot of work just to hack the system.

The other day I got Odell’s Oktoberfest brew, a Märzen style lager.
Dear lord it’s good.

On a conference call with three different IT professionals from India. I have such a hard time understanding them. My brain is going to be pickled after an hour of this.

I've worked with a lot of people in India for years. I just can't get the accent. I've tried and I feel horrible asking them to repeat themselves. At one point, I asked a guy to just IM me. I don't seem to have this problem with any other accent.

In some ways it’s because of their proficiency in English and the related speed of speaking which is the problem. I have a problem understanding Scottish and Irish accents for exactly this reason. Indians, Scots and Irish don’t have to slow down to think in English whereas others - Europeans, Central and South Americans, other Asians- usually think in their language and translate into English, the way I speak Italian or German. Indians doing call center jobs grew up educated in English medium schools and colleges. Their written English is on par with us.

I know it doesn't help but in the past i've tried to put my ear closer to the speaker in the conference room to attempt to understand better. I also, for some reason, have been the go-to-guy who can kind of understand/decipher what our partners are saying...so I can't imagine what all the other people are hearing.
