Maybe I should give it more time. I listened to it about 3 times and thought it just lacked soul. Perhaps too many guests? I liked only 1 or 2 songs out of the whole thing. I actually liked the Fall more than Humanz.

One of my Gorillaz favorites that wasn't on an album.

Saw him at Lollapalooza last year. Was expecting to be blown away after hearing all the hype. Thought he was just OK.

Been a lot of Beach House playing at our house this year. Great background music around the pool.

I was at the Nike store last Friday. They either have a DJ or play loud piped in "club/hip hop" music.
So for 2 minutes and 30 seconds (listen from the 21 second mark on) I heard the lyrics repeating and repeating and repeating and repeating to the point where I had to try and leave the store before I attempted to smash my skull against a brick wall. In hindsight it's not that bad and it's actually catchy but it was so freaking monotonous at the time and I couldn't deal with it. Give it a try and don't kill me if it has the same affect on you as it did on me last Friday.

I'm not positive, but I get the impression the rapper "was up late-night balling."

I don't like Tom Waits normally but Downtown Train is so so much better than Rod Stewart's.
And I don't mind Rod Stewart's.

Also Downtown Train is what I imagine Gutter sounds like when he walks around the streets of Chicago at night.
