They better look at holding when K-State has the ball

Last two series, Snyder was doing nothing but blitzing. Delay draw play to Pooka? Nope let's throw it on a windy cold day.

This team gets penalties on important plays like Beaty is paying them to make it happen.

No we didn't. I rarely say this: We got jobbed on those holding penalties. K-State blocked the same way for their running back. Beaty better say something post game. That game was stolen by officiating. We were the better team today.

This result seemed about right. The last offensive play seemed absolutely right.

I will say, Beaty had the last play set up perfectly. Screen to Pooka. No one even close. Ball slips out of Bender’s hand.

First hold was an OK call. Second call was not. Guy got man handled and went down so easy that the ref though something was up. That OL was pissed with those calls.

The Snyder era was never going to end on a great note, but god damn it seems like KSU really wants to give us an opening to make a great hire and bring things much closer:

i would liken the feeling of what happened saturday ( some suspect calls on the road, chance to win the game ) to what ksu has felt the last couple times at Allen Fieldhouse.

I don't think football/basketball comparisons are valid. Totally different games. I understand the appeal. But it is totally different.

A team that hasn't won at their 'rival' in, what, 10 years, gets very close, and looses, and there are some suspect calls that alter the result.

This is puzzling. Things are truly falling apart in Manattan, and pretty quick as well.

If I were a recruit and had to commit tomorrow and had a chance to go to coach-less KU or to that system at kstate, I would almost be tempted to pick KU.

I was texting a lifelong kstate friend of mine during the game and he is beyond done with Snyder on the sidelines. He said he will always remember the awesome memories of Snyder, but he doesn't have it anymore and kstate better make a move fast, or else things will be even worse next year. He wants kstate to get Littrell.

But on the same note, if Snyder retires today and both kstate and KU were looking for a new coach, I would bet that the guy would take a longer look at KU over kstate. Yeah kstate might have a better stadium and a fan base following for right now, but KU has a football-driven AD who knows what he is doing and the facilities are top half in the conference once the indoor practice facility is complete this winter.

Agree generally with all of this. Worth mentioning, too, that we have first-hand evidence - scary smart evidence, you might say - of what following Snyder can look like. And I'd argue the job will be in worse shape for the next guy than it was for the Half-Wit Prince.
