Like many things, you have no clue about prison life.
Wow. How long was your stretch? Was the food good? How bout the entertainment? Is it true what they say about dropping the soap?
Good to know you enjoyed it. You know you leave yourself open alot(no pun intended).
My "stretch" was 16 years of moving convicted criminals from prison to prison...from 16 years of assisting in the re-establishment of security after prison riots....from 16 years of donning riot gear and removing high risk individuals from riot conditions.
I have as much experience making snow cones as you do working inside a prison.
Yet, you offer up your worthless assessment of a potential convicted criminals' possible habitat.
It has certainly not hampered your production of gibberish that you no not of what you speak though.

Isn't it already agreed upon that we shouldn't let them in, and we just disagree about the approach?
Uhh...no.
Is there a significant bloc of people you have in mind? I just haven't heard either side say they were for illegal immigration. Libs out there - you pro illegal immigration?

Here comes Gutter to say - Gee, it sure is nice when I read a thread on the politics board where people can have a discussion without personal attacks on one another.
In keeping with the original post, isn't it great when people can make assessments about a cop being killed based on their political beliefs?
As Jeeper alluded to, people give a shit that it was an "illegal" who allegedly was the person that killed the cop - because it helps fit their political agenda/beliefs.
Those same people probably wouldn't give a flying fuck if it was a "White" who killed the cop.
If it was a "Black" who killed the cop then people would turn it in to a racial issue.
My guess is there are less people upset that a cop was killed than there are people who are pleased it was an "illegal" and not a "White" who did it.
Agree?
Example #3,659,327 of why I feel I live in a country with an overabundance of sick fucks.

this is much like the abortion debate...if you’re not pro-life, you MUST be pro-abortion
i doubt there is anyone that wants illegal immigration, or truly wide-open borders
in both cases, it would seem “liberals” want reasonable fixes

dog whistles...
I want the money we spend on our border to be spent on things that will actually help fix the problem AND help deal with what we NEED illegal workers for. There should be a ton more work visa granted to migrant workers and there should be a ton more money spent ensuring businesses hire workers with papers and treat them humanely. There should be money spent on processing the people that come to the border.
Trump wants a big shiny symbol. Something you can see with your eyes. He's a real estate developer; it's in his nature. Stealing a bunch of land from US citizens, sticking a bunch of metal slats in it and calling our border "fixed" is not the answer. It doesn't actually fix anything other than some votes in favor of Trump for 2020.
Does building a giant, gleaming new school and then filling it with the same shitty equipment and the same inadequate amount of teachers who are still paid the same inadequate amount of money "fix" a struggling school system? Nope. But Trump would call that a victory. He is a hollow shell of a human; it's no wonder that he desires a hollow shell of a solution.

There is more to border security than just a wall.

The energy in the Democratic Party -- the bloc that elected AOC and is Bernie Sanders' home -- is most definitely pro-illegal-immigration.
This tweet from a member of the national political committee of the DSA:
Vice Chairman of the Party (and next Attorney General of Minnesota):
And the t-shirt:
In a recent interview, Ellison suggested that because corporations “can go back and forth across the border seeking out the lowest wages,” regular people should be able to “go back and forth across the border seeking out the highest wages.”
....
a Harvard Harris poll last month states that a striking 36 percent of Democrats support “basically open borders.”
In a recent interview, Ellison suggested that because corporations “can go back and forth across the border seeking out the lowest wages,” regular people should be able to “go back and forth across the border seeking out the highest wages.”

"No human is illegal on stolen land" wtf?? What's the purpose of a border then?
I thought the U.S. paid $10mil to Mexico for the Gadsden purchase in 1853.

People have been crossing the borders daily for work for decades...both ways.

I sorta missed something, although DC seems to be doing his Lee Atwater best here.
When did the Democratic Socialists become the mainstream "bloc"of the Democratic Party? Most of the candidates that Bernie Sanders and his acolyte Ocasio Cortez endorsed lost in the Democratic primaries.
And if I remember correctly, Ocasio Cortez was elected in a blue district with an 11% turnout, where the voters took it for granted that their congressman would be reelected and didn't bother to come out to vote.
Also, if 36% of Dems said they're for whatever the pollsters meant by "open borders," doesn't that mean that 64% is for "secure borders"?

I predict that AOC will serve her two year term and then drift off into obscurity.

Weird analogy.
That's the fucking point and the entire argument of the Democrats opposed to giving him $5 billion for a wall.
