The soldier had a lot of peer support (higher ranking officers) so it’s not all on Trump.
Don’t military trials differ from civilian in that innocence has to be proven instead of proof of guilt?

Trump is the only one who could pardon after a court found someone guilty.

It follows a trend of Trump pardoning people that:
Violated campaign laws

Violated civil rights (contempt from civil rights charge)

Murdered in cold blood.

Obstructed justice.



All tried, convicted.
