All things considered this should be a 14-21 or less game. Take away some really bad calls, some really bad plays by Ku and some really puzzling coaching decisions this game is only two scores.

We never had any chance of winning this game, but any chance of keeping it respectable was thrown away by the staff.

No deep man on the punt, 3 straight garbage offensive plays and not punting out of bounds is the same kind of stupid shit that got Miles fired from LSU. His field/clock management so bad it seems unbelievable.

Not bailing on Miles, just so damn frustrating that he can’t seem to figure this shit out.

Incredibly bad coaching decisions on the 4th and goal punt. Les had no one to field the punt. Then ran three times into a run defensive front. Punted from the deep end zone. Out kicked coverage. Gift them a first and goal. Allow Lamb to have a 10-yard cushion.

See puzzling coaching decisions that cost your team. KU has to play perfect to even have a chance and they aren’t. People sitting in the stands are calling out the offensive plays for KU. It is clear they need to make changes in their offensive schemes.

I want to believe in Miles. But sheez. There are several YGBSM moments a game.

Was there any particular reason for our atrocious punt coverage? Slow gunners? I feel like that was a major issue a few times last week where we had great looking long punts and no coverage.

Is Kyle Thompson literally outkicking his coverage to the point it’s hurting us?

Yeah. He can boom it too far. Returners know this and back up. Coverage can’t catch up. Needs to kick it higher sometimes and it necessarily far.
