Now, franchising, there's some sweet cash there. BUT - you have a critical mass problem. You really need to have 5+ stores to make it work.

He lives in Colorado, Peyton has all the franchises.

As does Elway.

Edit: I guess he only has like 3 restaurants under his name.

Peyton's sold a lot if not all of those Papa Johns though.

Elway owns a Toyota dealership out here and it's one of the worst.

I second the food truck idea. You can couple that with your outfitting/guiding and really stick it to the captive audience........er, provide superlative one-stop customer service

Have you seen what they are charging at these food trucks? Used to be they were really quirky cheap eats. Now they are small portions of really quirky expensive eats!

Coffee shop, the Empire needs a coffee shop. All we need is a couple of used commercial coffeemakers and airpots, we will buy the pastries at the Sunflour Cafe in Monte Vista, so no kitchen. We will have a contest to find that best empanada cook in town. My guess is someone there that makes an empanada as well as Maria in Denver. Then we will have them supply empanadas. All we need is a refrigerator at that point and a microwave. You will need a cheap/free apartment. Show up the week of Thanksgiving. We close that week and my wife and I will be out there all week. You can have your pick of the four apartments. There is a cool second floor spot above the potential coffee shop.

You will have to help me carry a large couch across the alley to our other building.

Don't listen to Feral, he did not lose a finger the last time he helped me move a couch, although it was close. But that's just because he is thin skinned.

Slept all afternoon.
