Best guard passer. He was the guy who threw the alley-oops, the guy who seemed to make the great pass.

Wow. Imagine going from playing in Allen, to playing in that arena. It's like a return to high school ball.

I'm constantly being told that that doesn't matter to players.
I can't possibly see how that could be true

Players say that? I haven't heard that too much, but then again I don't follow what a lot of recruits/players say.

No. Mostly from adults who want to look smart.

Grimes’s glory days were in high school, so maybe the familiarity will help.

Some players shoot better when the wall is 15' behind the basket.

Grimes with 10 points tonight in a loss to BYU...some white dude for BYU hit a last-second shot in Grimes face for the W.
Interesting. Forgot markese Jacob's was on that team as well

Went and saw Oregon vs Houston cuz my work buddy had some tickets.
Grimes played a good amount but he really didn’t impress me. He wasn’t bad but he was far from electric. Houston has some good athletes but shot horribly. 10% overall but their last three came in garbage time.
The Ducks are pretty good, lots of depth. Many bigs and a versatile backcourt. Didn’t shoot super well and have no super star.
The atmosphere was nothing close to the fieldhouse. Was never loud. Lots of pumped in music. The arena is new and very nice but nothing historic really. Court was weird.

Carlton Bragg is older than Lamar Jackson. Let that sink in for a bit.
Also, for a good time go to kusports.net

With the exception of Charlie Moore, I was sad to see all those guys leave.
Obvious to most, but, interesting comment in there confirming that Grimes was essentially told he dodnt have a spot to play at Kansas anymore.
He gave away his spot. Didnt matter that he did it in error and realized he wanted it back.

“This is a high-major program,” he said of the school that’s only made the tournament 3 times in his life, and hasn’t sniffed a final four in 35 years.

And didn’t he wait til like 11:59 pm to withdraw? Or wait, did he just go undrafted?
I wish the kid well, but I can only imagine he and/or his handlers must have handled things awful poorly if he really did just straight up loose his spot on the roster like that.
