Any KU coaching changes?
Re: Any KU coaching changes?
I thought Bowen did a great job when he took over for Weis; the team played really hard those handful of games he was the interim.

I guess this can go under any potential coaching changes. I could be wrong but I have a gut feeling Joe Brady leaving LSU could potentially be bad news for us.

Jeff Hecklinksi moving to San Diego State to be their OC. Was the TE Coach here along with being Recruiting Coordinator (Which is irrelevant because staffs have people who do that)
He had some good connections on California and other places.
KU might promote their offensive analyst Eagle, to be the TE coach. But could go elsewhere too. Options to promote from within are there though this late in process.

Mike Ekeler (ST/ILB) coach is leaving to pursue other opportunities.
Thought Gavin Potter and Dineen made some strides under Ekeler as season went on. He's always been kind of a job hopper and maybe just didn't like the fit.
I imagine the ST role will be filled internally, but they'll have to find an ILB coach. DJ Eliot is the OLB coach. So either he'll take on the LB as a whole (Which would be a bad idea because it's tough to do the same drills all together when playing a 3-4 defense because the inside and outside do a different thing) or they find someone for that role.

Mike Ekeler hired at North Texas as ST coach. Followed Clint. Must have had a bond with him or maybe some writing on the wall at KU.
