Unfortunately I often hear it, see/read it, and I'm in Illinois. Well, bitter Illinois fans might have something to do with some of it but there are plenty of non-Illini folks who don't have such a warm fuzzy feeling about the KU Basketball program. Nor should they. Do you actually disagree with that?
I have an Iowa alum co-worker who thinks it's funny to ask me about once a month if KU has received the death penalty yet. Sort of jokingly but yet he still asks it.

People across the country don't have warm fuzzy feelings about KU bball. Bummer.
