I'm sure Fix's handiwork is decent, but real KU fans know the place to be is the Jayhawk Motel. Besides, I don't think you can find a coin-operated vibrating bed messager in any of Fix's projects.

My only advice is don't stay at the Knights Inn. That was an experience I never want to have again.

That burned down a couple of years ago.

Booked a room at the Eldridge. Coming in Thirsday night so I figure something by Mass. would be beat. Take her out to grab a bite and wander around to get a feel for it. Then bright and early Friday morning for the tours/info. Should be fun. Thanks to all for the advice, it was helpful in thinking through my plan.
She has already done a visit to Loyola, Illinois last summer and we will probably visit Colorado State and Minnesota as well. Now I need to go research a list of questions I'll want to ask on the visit.

Might as well just leave a card on file everywhere on Mass.

All about hanging out with my kid on this trip but I will try to get down there on my own again in the near future and take you up on it.
When I come down for the national championship parade, I'll meet up with you and buy a beer.

If we were to ever meet, you might be surprised.
I attended KU in the early 80s....drinking heavily was a necessity

Also ran into Sherron Collins at breakfast.

A buffet no doubt. How many chimichangas did you see him eat?

Example #457,936 of why airbnb is a crap shoot.
I don't know how it works in terms of denying people once they sign up but if those two showed up at my door I would have a strong feeling they were not going to be perfect house guests.
