I quit watching Top Chef for these same reasons. They really do have top chefs and they give them challenges to cook out of a vending machine. Alton Brown gets on my last nerve. Can't watch him.
Where's Julia when we need her?
And get off my lawn.

Another show where I liked the concept and hated the host.
Dude said Ummm....uhhhh....ummm so many times I swear he was getting paid each time he did it.
And he did stupid stuff, like making a barbecue out of a plant pot or a carboard box.

I like the science and history that he applies. It could stand to be just a touch less goofy.
For some reason I kinda like the "uh"s and "uhm"s.

It took Fieri a long time to get to his new restaurant at PnL and he largely did not seem into it. The thing has absolutely tanked, and I'd be shocked if it survived Covid-19. Strange how little he is into his namesake restaurants.
For those not in KC, there is a restaurant/property owner self nicknamed "Stretch" who met Guy when Stretch's restaurant Grinders was on DDD. He and Guy are now good friends and Stretch is trying to emulate everything Guy down to the looks. Probably unfairly, I can't keep my dislike of Stretch from tainting my view of Guy.

Also, I've heard the correct pronunciation is "Guy Fairy."
Stop hatin’.

Whoa 5 hand-breadeded sticks, with hearty marinara dip, served in a cast iron tray??
We’ll have 2, shut up and take my money!

Bigfoot...might be real. But probably behind ghosts, ufos and maybe a couple others on the probability chart.
Anybody heard of dyatlov pass? What was that? What the fuck happened there? Too much weird shit in the world and too much we dont know....some of these stories have to have some truth based origins

I was going to respond to Chalk by quoting his/her post but don't want to upset him/her.
Instead I'll just say, I didn't see the episode but my rule of thumb is a burger stops being a burger when the meat is no longer is the predominant feature/ingredient and has less taste than what is on it.

CBS Sunday Morning did a bit on Guy. Credit to him for helping out as much as he has. Still served me the worst shrimp tacos in the history of tacos.

Gotta give ghosts more credit.
Im pretty sure i caught one on a trail cam i had set up in the basement of a 100 year old building i was restoring. Fucker kept moving tools and stealing them while we had them in our bags working.
Also theres some weird shit in the woods. Bigfoot could still be out there
