Maybe.
Let's hope they (and everyone else in the Big 12) play 18 games.

Iowa is playing Southern. Not a big deal right? Iowa up 58-35 at half.

Here's the kicker..

Garza has 36 points AT HALF!

Did you check the play hard chart? Or did you just use the "score" to determine a "winner ".

What a horrendous call to save Novas ass in regulation vs the Hokies.

Looks like VTech overcame that bad call to win in OT.

Watching UK vs. Richmond. UK might get 50 points in the paint on us on Tuesday. Hopefully we shoot threes well.

What’s UK look like?

Sounds like they’re long? Do they have obvious nba talent like in years past?

I think they play mostly freshmen?

Long but not that good yet. Offense is clunky and erratic in the half court. Defense is hard to shoot over but not disciplined at all. I think we have a good shot at beating them. And with 7 minutes left, they still haven't hit a single three pointer yet.

Just saw a rule I didn’t know was a rule:

Oakland at Michigan, close down the stretch.

An Oakland player runs the baseline, steps out of bounds, then runs back in and around to the top of the key. They pass it to him. Turnover?!

Apparently if a player steps out, they can’t be the next person to touch it? I always thought they just had to get 2 feet in bounds to be eligible again.

Anywho, overtime!

Gonna need to box out baylor. They outrebounded UW 50-19....thats a pathetic number on a stat that can be accrued with nothing more than effort

Yeah didn't know the exact rules there, but that 2 feet rule generally applies to coming to the half court. If they don't get 2 feet in crossing the half court line before touching the ball, that's over and back. Didn't know about the out of bounds thing, similar to football I guess with WR running routes.

Wait, what?

And yeah, I always thought it was just if a player went out of bounds, he had to get 2 feet in bounds before he could touch the ball again.

But apparently not. Just incidentally stepping out by the baseline is enough to do it even if a player doesn’t touch the ball again until the top of the key.

I guess it’s to prevent some strategic advantage to a guy going out of bounds? But that doesn’t really add up either. If a team wants to strategically have a guy go out of bounds, why not let em? They’re the ones playing 4-on-5. As long as the dude has to get 2 feet back on the court before he can touch the ball either way, what’s the big deal?

without the rule, what’s to keep someone from in-bounding to themselves?
