He's looking to be coddled. Kidding/not kidding.

I’d take him but Id also prefer some proven experience.
Me too. Just seems he is the best option if we strike out on a transfer.

I just hope we figure out a lineup with more than half a shooter on the floor

I’d take Garrett back but not as our point guard. We saw how that experiment went and finally ended.

I’d be curious to see how Garrett would have looked as a point guard surrounded by guys not afraid to shoot

I think Ochai improves from 3.
I think Braun improves from 3.
I think Bryce improves everywhere.
I think Jalen improves everywhere.
Harris will have more confidence.

Top 10 team with potential to be top 4.

I'm good with Bryce looking for better opportunities elsewhere.

Love the optimism, but a team that sits 29th in the KenPom metrics at the end of the season needs a hell of a lot to happen between now and next season to sit Top 4...

While I agree, it would be hard to be worse. This team had next to nothing reliable down low, so unless someone else is coming in next year to help, those guys better improve their shooting.

DMac should become more consistent too.

I said it in another thread, but I would be totally cool with a more dynamic option at the wing than Christian.

It’s not that he’s not good, it’s that he’ll be better coming in shooting against other team’s second units, rather than looking timid against D1 starters

And there will be less attrition on other teams ahead of us than most yearsm

Hard to be worse?
Meanwhile UNC, Duke, Kentucky and UNC either didn’t make the tourney or lost their first game in it.

I just don't see anything Bryce does well. I'd be good with a transfer PG in AND TyTy Washington if Bryce transfers out.

Lightfoot is going to get some minutes taken by the frosh and juco transfer, that's the only help we're getting there for 2022.

It's kind of just a re-tooling of this not great team. Outside of the obvious PG issue, we just so badly need our off ball perimeter guys to play like pros.

Hey if you guys are that confident that we can’t be a top team, take the bet.

Hard for those guys you mentioned specifically to be worse. Or perhaps we watched different teams.

I agree with a lot of this.

Dmac needs to work on his footwork and post moves, maybe use the backboard more often like Tim Duncan.

Braun needs to come off the bench (Think Tyrel Reed). I guess he could use a little ink
