Just imagine it's more focused.
I don't think they are making up any of the stories presented at all - they just aren't commenting on all human terror/mass murder/enslavement.

A few sentences in the early narration would have cleared up/legitimized what they are trying to present in the series.

In KUBB terms, it'd be like a documentary called the Golden Age and it was a four part series about Bill Self at KU but didn't mention any prior coaches or seasons.

Issue with the heart of the premise, at least from what the narrator says, is that white Europeans were the only ones to subjugate another people to a lower level of human and enslave and/or exterminate them which is not true.

On another note, the Dan Carlin podcast (hardcore history i think?) Does a 5 or 6 part series on Genghis Khan. Fucking fantastic. Its like 18 or 20 hours of podcast though.

Hardcore History rules. WWI is probably the best of his series. 5 or 6 episodes of about 3 hours each but well worth it. Fall of the Roman Republic was excellent as well.

I read the book The Autumn of the Black Snake a bit ago detailing early British/French Indian wars and the transition to the early US government and establishment of an army to handle Native American uprisings/attacks.

Lot of holyshit violence in there including beheading children/infant colonists and putting their heads on spikes, all pointing west.
