We don't know what's happening.
But Self seems frustrated talking about it to the media.
And Remys kinda been a B all season.

If it's not true, which I think is more likely, then hopefully his knee heals quickly and he can get back on the floor.
I hope Remy saw that he is not indispensable and that he was motivated to pull up his big boy pants and make a positive contribution.

KU Twitter seemling decided today that:

1. Remy is out for the season with a knee injury

and

2. Remy and his dad are mad at Self and he's quitting the team

Did we learn nothing from the Marcus Carr mess two weeks ago?

There’s no reason this should be under wraps. None.

Self has clearly danced around this question since it happened.

Yes. Self has handled this weird the entire time, which contributes to the weird rumors and speculation.

I will say, remember when Self was kinda questioning Doks toughness and then it turned out he had an actual season ending injury?

Last I saw on KUSports.com, the word was that there was no structural damage to Remy's knee, just that it was swollen and painful. Seems to point to the possibility that it is his butt that is hurt rather than his knee. Or not. Who knows?

Doyel called him a puss.
So who knows.

No one.

So, it's a good idea to make a disparaging speculation based on nothing.

Never miss an opportunity to take a shot at a 22 year old player on the team you supposedly root for.

I root for the team, and the team has its best shot at winning with a version of Remy who is dialed in and playing team ball. Sorry if that offends you. Add it to the list, I guess.

Antics: foolish, outrageous behavior.

Pointing at players before they've made their shot to highlight that YOU passed it to them. No look passing to players and then walking back assuming the player made it and then getting burned on defense. Jacking threes with 24 seconds on the clock and then, when subbed, shaking your head with a snide smile like it's the coaches fault.
