Al I know is there is always toilet paper and hand sanitizer on the shelves when I go to the grocery, not like when that last guy had supply chains all fucked up. And farmers are doing better now that we don't have easy to win trade wars going on with China.

Did we ever get our high flow showers heads back and high flow toilets? That was a real economic concern.

Regarding TP and hand sanitizer, whatever did become of that?

Was it really just assholes hoarding it for themselves? Are there still entire bunkers full of Charmin and Purell?

I remember a lefty acquaintance offering me a few rolls during the shortage, cuz lefties pride themselves on taking care of each other and communities in need.

Normally I don’t accept handouts, but this time I did, just for the satisfaction of getting to wipe my ass with socialist handouts. Quite the symbolism!

And after pondering why TP of all things, and hand sanitizer during a pandemic, would be in short supply, I attributed that too to socialist scum. It couldn’t possibly have been the me-first culture of capitalism.

If anything, capitalism was best equipped to provide more, not leftist commie fascist socialists just trying to be thoughtful.

Ok maybe not, but capitalism at least gave me the chance to profit handsomely off N95 masks I sold at a markup to some poor saps overseas.

Maybe someday I’ll post a pic of a deposit receipt!

All I know is that Trumplethinskin was president then so he was to blame.

Speaking of Fear, they also wrote the music that DT plays before he walks on stage at his recent rallies. The title is a line item in the next GQP platform for the midterms.

I think you see what you want to see. Reality is that we are headed for a crash and nobody in charge seems to either a) notice or b) care.

Are you talking about government subsidies for oil, gas, farmers?

This winter or sooner?

So the economy is bad because a crash will happen sometime, and the good economic numbers aren't due to economic policy because Biden is "too out there".

Those are the only justifications for your points of view on the economy?

Inflation will eventually sink the boat.

Ok. What's causing it? How do we decrease it?

Build a time machine and go back to before the idiot in charge started pumping the economy full of free money borrowed from the Chinese. Or raise interest rates.

I'd say the whole country did by getting on the Biden Boat. But that's just my opinion.

i can't say that uncle joe has done a bad job. he would have to actually do something for us to be able to grade the job he is doing.

i can't say that i 100% disagree with the do nothing strategy. his do nothing strategy might be his best play until we get to 2024.

Right after the housing bubble bursts, right? Whatever happened to that thread? Heck, whatever happened to that prediction?

It's going to happen. Right now, the people in charge are playing a game of chicken by pushing it down the road a bit farther via free money. But eventually, that will run out and the piper will have to be paid. The only question that politicians care about is who is in the hot seat when it happens.
