Yeah, I think I mentioned it, but it’s nice to have gotten our ugly game outta the way and still be dancing
which one?
I’ll count last game. Only 26 points at halftime, with four of our starters (including a first team AA) combining for all of 6 points
yea but our D was elite. Creighton was a worse game I think.

Perhaps so.
Creighton also got our “mid major having a career shooting night” game outta the way too tho.

Moore's size is a liability on defense, but speed in the passing lanes crushed ISU last night. KU needs to focus on cleaning up the trash passes. And hit some shots. KU is still playing because it has gotten to the FT line and made them. Anti-2003 team here.

I fully expect this game to follow the script from the last few weeks... Struggle to build a lead, give it away in the 2nd half, and hopefully pull away with a win.
As bad as our defense was for most of the season, it is the reason why we are still playing this weekend. If only Och can get out of his funk and David can stop playing on roller skates.

ill add you to the Charlie Moore fan club mailing list.
what the fuck is going on in here?
What the fuck is going on here is you not thinking/realizing Charlie Moore is a good basketball player.
Possibly just as good if not better than Harris.
I assure you it's alright to respect and give players on other teams praise.
Ok, maybe not on here.

Remember when Charlie Moore was so bad here that we had to play a true freshman pg 33 minutes a night instead?

"JFC", no one has stated they are "scared" of Charlie Moore.
You're the guy who said, "yes. I think Charlie Moore isn't that good", "he isn't that good".
I and a few others on here disagree and feel you are wrong.
That's all.
As far as Miami, I'm not "scared" of them but I sure as heck respect them and realize they are more than capable of beating KU if they play how they have been playing and we play how we have been playing.
That's all.
Like you, I hope we shut him/them down, make him/them our bitch, and move on.

Before the tourney started, we were slated to play Top 10 KenPom Auburn and Jabari Smith, maybe the most talented player in all of college basketball. Miami is a great draw.
That said, when you are as good as we are every season, you're almost always going to lose to a lower seeded team. Still, our fans our still so damn shellshocked from Bucknell, Bradley, and Stanford. It's been a decade or two since those. LFG.

Self's 3-7 record in elite8 games doesn't help

I am hoping he is learning as he is going.
Granted, it's easy to get up for duke, but his last Elite Eight game was one of the best performances by a KU team in Self's tournament history. Unreal effort and execution.

I think creighton qualifies as an ugly game.
we are on two straight ugly games. we play ugly tomorrow, our season is over.
but, it has been a great season already.
We just won ugly games against two teams who are both better than Miami. We can absolutely win another one if it happens.
It will be easier for Kansas to get to what they want offensively than it will be for Miami. Our defense is playing at an elite level right now and getting better every game. We also have more room for improvement event offensively than Miami.
I like our chances and hope we can cash in on this tremendous opportunity.

I think our offense will look a lot better. That's Miamis weakness. On paper it's a good matchup for us. You just worry about some lamo going 9 outta 10 on threes. And larranega is a ealky good coach.
