Unfortunately, for them, their coach sucks.

looking forward to the Champions Classic, what sort of team is Dook this year?

I think they lost like 5 guys to the draft, but bring in another #1 recruiting class. (Totally normal for a first year coach to land the #1, #2, and #4 recruits.)

So they have 7 freshmen, and 4 (apparently unheralded) transfers. They lost a scrimmage to Houston already 61-50.

Meanwhile, we return 2 starters and several serviceable-to-good reserves from a natty team, plus a top transfer and some stud-potential freshmen of our own. We're down our HOF coach tho for the first time in ever.

I get the feeling the champions classic is gonna be ugly.

and generally, with as much pressure that comes with the Dook program, I dunno if I'd want my first year coaching to be a roster of 7 freshmen and 4 meh transfers.

JW should shine
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

basketball in november is mostly always ugly.

hoping and wishing that duke is going to fall off now that k is gone. is just that. wishful thinking. i predict they don't skip a beat.

if anything, that dinosaur retiring might give them a bump.

Freshman Dariq Whitehead is projected to go Top 5-10 in the draft and is not expected to play because of injury.

They've got the top 2 centers in the class. Both top 10 recruits. One is the number 1 overall recruit and freakishly talented. Could be a rough night for our front court

We better spread it out.

that'd only make "sense" (none of this stupid conference shuffle makes sense) if we were also adding 1 or more of...Washington, Oregon, Utah...

Like Notre Dame in the ACC. Basketball is a big part of what has saved the Big 12. Maybe add Butler too.

what? no. Butler was good for 2 season, a decade ago. They have a losing record the last 2 years.
