Sorry but all this pronoun nonsense is mostly an unnecessary creation of high maintenance shit.

Re: Pronouns
I don't know if they identify as one but.... Maybe Ousy should say he has his own "pronouns" that he uses to identify people and he would like the person to respect him for referring to the person as - Dildo.BasketballJayhawk wrote: ↑Mon Dec 19, 2022 3:35 pmThis.
Or just make up a word that isn't already used for other things?

Re: Pronouns
Lol, actually!
I told the person my pronoun is comrade.
I thought it would impress her as a lefty lesbian her…I mean, themself, but alas

Hey, respect and tolerance is a two way street!
Re: Pronouns
But do pronouns have anything to do with that?
You seem to be the only one offending homo/trans people at work. So there's that.
Re: Pronouns
Quite the advocate, unless he needs to be offensive for his piss poor comedy routine.
Re: Pronouns
Yea, pretty sure this might be the first time I’ve ever really upset someone on LGBTQ+ matters.
As such, I told them I’m trying to humble myself, and do the right thing, and treat it as a learning experience, and grow as an advocate.
I mentioned it’s personal to me, as my little brother’s gay, some of my best friends are LGBTQ+, I’ve had gay couples as roommates, etc.
But, not being gay myself, I’m not gonna tell them what their experience is, or should be. I’m only gonna ask how I can advocate.
As such, if they prefer a particular pronoun, I’ll certainly make the effort.
The problem is, I put my foot in my mouth about shit all the time, on all sorts of matters in addition to pronouns.

Re: Pronouns
What exactly do you do to qualify as an advocate?
This seems like an awful lot of nonsense going on in the workplace.

try to respect pronouns, for startersBasketballJayhawk wrote: ↑Mon Dec 19, 2022 6:00 pm What exactly do you do to qualify as an advocate?

"Try" unsuccessfully apparently.ousdahl wrote: ↑Mon Dec 19, 2022 8:21 pmtry to respect pronouns, for startersBasketballJayhawk wrote: ↑Mon Dec 19, 2022 6:00 pm What exactly do you do to qualify as an advocate?
And that's a pretty low bar for what qualifies as "advocacy".
Re: Pronouns
omg my brother is too much
“Yea its important to respect pronouns, but frankly sounds like it’s THEM just being too much of a f*ggot about it…
…not that you can say that out loud, only me…
…you know, kinda like how only black people are allowed to say the N word…”

Re: Pronouns
JFC.
No clue why he gets away with saying stuff like that around here. Anyone else says the F-word (even with the * ) like that and they'd get banned.
He can say whatever he wants as long as he pretends he is just repeating what other say.
AND Q: a prime example of why you're NOT an advocate. No real advocate would rush here to type that to try to enhance their pathetic comedy routine.
Grow up Q.

Re: Pronouns
I guess just blame it on the autism?
Re: Pronouns
I blame it on you being immature.
There's no reason to say shit like that. It's just not humorous for adults.

Re: Pronouns
so another guy’s comment:
“I mean that Jordan Peterson dood is mostly kooky but he kinda does have a point about this thread”
wut?
“That you should be able to just say whatever pronouns you want as a matter of free speech”
