I'm more pissed about missing the front end of 1 and 1s.

and unforced TOs on Dajuan.

And shit like that.
this, if it weren't for this, the last call wouldn't have made a difference

When the cancer guy hit the three, you knew it was going to come down to the last second.

when davis started hitting every flailing off balance floater while barreling towards the basket i knew we were headed for trouble.

Some really poor game/time management and play calling in the last 2 minutes.

Poor effort all around the last 10 minutes.

But yea KJ is gonna be 1st team B12 quality next year.
I wouldn’t be shocked if KJ finds his was onto an AA team next year. I think he and Udeh will form the best frontcourt we’ve had here in quite some time (relatively speaking).

Also: the McCullar play has been called a charge all year. BUT, that’s a terrible fucking way to officiate hoop, so I have no regret or anger over that one.

Tough ask.
There’s a certain irony here, in that you are quite personally opposed to the factor that MIGHT make his decision not so clear-cut.

I’m old enough to remember when Harris tried to barf away the natty, too.

He’s a perplexing player. He does a lot of things well, and a couple things at an elite level. He will be on Big 12 teams next year, deservedly.

But his reputation is that of a very different player…a try-hard, do-right. And he does too much WRONG for that reputation.

No.
I don’t get how often you make this mistake or leap of assuming my intents.
If money is most important to him then go get it.

I’m not assuming anything. I’m just saying that the ask is way less tough today than it was a couple years ago.

The irony is in you wanting Dick back, but having a deep, personal hatred for something that just DOES make it more likely that guys like him might choose to play college basketball longer.

It’s just a tidy illustration of how silly anti-NIL is; it’s anti-staying-in-school.

To me, I think it’d be awesome if a couple million bucks from adidas or someone else made it worth Dick’s while to score 22/game for us next year.

I love KJ and look forward to him sliding down. We've had about three years of being overmatched by physicality and athleticism inside and those two playing next to each other will help a lot.

Also, I thought a charge too, but KM got beat initially and think the refs weren't going reward him with the call.

Ok ( for fish not chin dildo ).

I get that. To you. I’m not going to manipulate the way you feel over and over or put words in your mouth or say it’s ironic when it isn’t.

You are cool with pro basketball in the ever thinning guise of college ball and I am not.

There’s no irony when it compares to how I’d prefer college ball to be much like half of what Morsette sings about in that song, no matter how hard she sings it.

Though that said, I do make you look at banners to give this site more money so you do have me there. I’ll take that punch.

Respect the Hell out of the altruism. But it had a Nike Swoosh on it in church.

I've avoided the NCAA thread for the most part because it just seems like the most unfun place online, but I think at a certain point they're going to have to get the portal under control. The money doesn't bother me near as much, primarily from the perspective that a lot of these kids are not guaranteed anything at the next level and should be compensated for what they bring to the University and community. But yeah, one free transfer per, please.

I get more of this vibe….
