If you're seeing discrepancies then it means you were on the site for the specific time of updating and downloaded a series of outdated styles that hadn't been updated. They were then cached on your browser. In time, that'll go away on it's own but you can also clear your cache if you don't want to wait for it to resolve itself.

Command + option + E for safari.
Command + shift + R for chrome and firefox.

Without having to clear my cache, the site is back to normal for me, it appears, other than the size of the font. I looked around my Settings and could't find a way to change that, am I missing something? If not, I can live with it. And, it's great to have the video hosting feature back.

Thanks!

The size of the content of the font is 1.1 em which in this case is just a touch under 16 pixels.
16 pixels is a very typical size for large bodies of text ( which in Shirley and japhy's case can be often ).
I'm not certain if the new update changed that slightly but it looks pretty much the same on my end.

Your browsers cache should clear on its own between one day and max one week.
You can also clear your browsers cache manually.
I have purged the cache but i'm not going through the process of changing all the css files naming conventions with appending a query string to the end - sorry all.

japhy's rich and has the time, why not have him do it?

I think, since I spoke with Dreamhost's support team about backing up our database, they might be intentionally limiting our bandwidth simply because we popped up on their radar.

If it keeps happening, i'll have to do my bi-annual look up other hosts, get ready to move to one of them and demand the speed we pay for.

FWIW.... Seems better now.
VERY possible it was on my end but other sites loaded quickly while this site was as I said, "buggy". Wouldn't "load" when I was trying to make posts and click on threads.

pdub can probably assist you better than I can but I have two suggestions.
1. Log out and log back in.
2. Restart your computer.
As a side note, my font is back to the usual size.
