I want to (not the 100 mile but the 100 km) but I’m in terrible shape. Haven’t been out on my bike in several months due to heavy international travel for work. I’ve been maintaining some semblance of fitness on the Peloton but I’m concerned about even climbing the hill near my house in one go!!

My daughter and I have made a deal that I would ride the AMBBR (America’s Most Beautiful Bike Ride) - aka the Lake Tahoe Century, with her when she gets her PhD, in about a year+. Did it when I turned 50 but the 12 or so years that (will) pass are not kind. My mind thinks that I’m still 24 and I’m too stupid to admit that my body is no longer that.
