Just back from a doozy of a visit to CO. Buddy got me 1,000 mg containers of gummies (20 gummies @ 50mg each) for just $50 each. 4,000mg for $200?!? Yes, please. At full retail I normally get maybe 700mg of gummies for $200.
Got a pen and two 500mg cartridges for another $90 total. Set for months now.
Just curious about the reason for your obsession over weed.

The physical and mental benefits provided by my consistent usage allow me to function how I would prefer to live and see life. Consider it an anti-depressant with less side effects that treats much more than my mild depression. I refuse to take an anti-depressant made by a pharmaceutical company with a range of awful side effects that prevent me from living how I prefer.
It has also been a valuable tool against what I firmly believe is the beginnings of my battle against CTE. There are days when it feels like someone spilled a bottle of ink in my skull. I have a lot to process on that front and again, these edibles have been helpful.

Dumb question time. I walk around the city and not a day goes by when I don't see and/or smell people smoking weed while driving.
Early last night I was on the corner of Michigan Avenue and Huron and a car pulls up and stops at the red light. 5 or 6 cops standing around doing nothing. Window of the car "rolled" down and the driver and passenger in CLEAR sight passing a joint back and forth and smoking it.
Cops did NOTHING. Why?

Because they should have more important things to do.

If it's true the driver was clearly smoking weed, I disagree. That's really dangerous and should have massive penalties.

pdub - You're right, they should have more important things to do but being a presence on Michigan Avenue was what the Mayor and Police Commissioner felt was important for them to be doing.
In terms of people smoking weed while driving, doesn't really bother me until someone is stoned and they run my ass over because they are stoned.
I would assume if a cop saw someone swigging from a bottle of whiskey they should/would at least tell the person to throw away the bottle. I feel the same way about if they were to see someone smoking a joint.

I agree if the driver was smoking, then yes.
I don't know about massive penalties, certainly not more than driving drunk.
There have been studies that show you drive slower when stoned rather than faster.

I stopped smoking weed about a month ago....for the first several weeks I had insane dreams every night, which was a cool/fun benefit to stopping because who doesn't love having dreams you can remember when you wake up!...no real reason for quitting, just woke up 1 day and decided I didn't want to smoke anymore. At least for a while. Maybe someday I will again.
