Dave Matthew's sucks big donkey balls. Some of the most overrated music around.

I think he/his band was overrated and then underrated.
It became cool to hate Dave Matthews.
His band has talent. Tim Reynolds is a very good guitarist.

They certainly aren't in my top 50 bands all time but they also don't 'suck donkey balls'.

They're no Fleetwood Mac.

I think I just got oversaturated with his shit. In the early 2000s my roommates at the time were completely obsessed with them and it's all they played. He was everywhere in the northwest. Couldnt turn around without hearing his shit. He was like a demigod in the area. I never really liked his music (yes they are very talented musicians) amd that combined with the oversaturation made me hate them more and more.

Totally agree with the over saturation.
"Closing Time" by Semisonic was fine the first couple times I heard it and then very quickly hated it to death.

Radio stations here are terrible. Top 40, Country & Jesus, and two classic rock stations. Both of which play Led Zeppelin ad infinitum. If I'm listening to the radio, mostly it's WRFL, UK student radio.
