Agreed. That is the shit you just can't afford to have come playoff time.

My "try to put a positive spin" is that every kicker is going to have a spell like this so it's best to do it early in the year in games you win despite it.

Bieniemy has to be the favorite for the Texans job

If he wants it. And because of Watson, maybe it will be the best job.

But there's things to like about Atlanta, also, for example.

Yeah I'd say Houston and Atlanta are dang near tied. Tampa won't have Brady long and Brees is losing it in New Orleans. The NFC South is up for grabs. But you also get the chance to coach a top 5 QB in Watson for a long time.

Matt Ryan is done though

ATL is in the Trevor Lawrence sweepstakes, but even with TL having a year or two to learn under Ryan, I'd take Watson and Houston over ATL. Or wait until Fangio gets bounced.

Elway is a mess. I'd stay away from Denver.

That Houston job has ownership issues I wouldn’t want. Denver is in the division. Atlanta is the best fit.

KC gutted out a W last night. Another generic night where the defense stepped up. Out of synch. Not surprised given the circumstances. Amazingly have survived the injuries and suspensions. Would like to see them make a run at perfection, but even Mahomes and Butker start to have self doubts.

Matt Ryan is not done but he's getting there - you have Julio and Calvin - Ryan certainly isn't the reason the Falcons are loosing.
Bienemy is from the South.
Atlanta has a shot at Trevor Lawrence or Justin Fields.

On top of that, Houston doesn't have a 1st round draft pick for next season.

Both Atlanta and Houston would be good fits.

Or 2nd round pick either. 7 picks from rounds 4-7. Can build depth, but can't get an impact guy.

Chiefs should have a healthy Jones, Ward and Breeland for next week.

Yep. Remember how good Sneed was too? When he comes back, he may not start. Breeland and Ward will start with Fenton in the slot.

The Chiefs secondary is quickly becoming a big strength. And doing it with a 6th round pick in Fenton, a castoff in Breeland and a 4th round pick in Sneed.

Do we know when Sneed is expected back. I look up broken collarbone, and it said about 8 weeks, which would be around beginning of Dec. But didn't know if Chiefs had a better timeline.

That's about right.
You may see him right before the playoffs.
Too bad - guy was well surpassing his expectations.

Pretty much put him on IR and didn't set a time table because recovery can very. Having him back for the stretch run would be ideal. I like his speed more than Fenton's but Veach and his scouting department have been hitting nothing but homers lately.

The Buffalo game on a cold Thursday night will be a challenge. Chiefs did not get a cake schedule.
