The quick yanking of Yesufu was frustrating.

Yes, he fucked up. And he's going to continue to fuck up with such a short leash.

A lot of people on here can’t comprehend this. Self has always given a shorter leash to certain players while others (Dave, Lightfoot) can play long stretches of games just getting worked over and making mistake after mistake.

Wasn’t it like just 2 games ago that Self was making comments about how he needs to get certain doods more minutes and everything

Yes was giving up more layups than anybody, and we were giving up a lot of layups.

Self can play Harris 39 minutes if he wants Och to be smothered. CBS's "analysts" were cracking on Och, but he no longer has much space to operate.

That didn't change in the last handful of games. What has changed is how defenses guard Och.

Some of you blame way too much on DH and DMac.

Did you expect him to bash them in the media?

Clemence got minutes today.

So did KJ Yesufu and JCL.

Yesufu and JCL looked fairly mediocre. KJ did fine. Clemence did well.

Given the time of the year and the small margin for error, now is not the time to let Yesufu play through his mistakes ...Bill should have played him more at the beginning of the year.

This game was my fault.
I went to a bar that took me 30 minutes to change one tv to the KU game and then when we did people complained that they were missing luge.

Your post indicates it didn't change and did change. A bit of a paradox. The reality is they changed by not worrying about Harris and double teamed the scoring threat.

Except he isn't really being double teamed. He is mostly being face guarded.

Teams have not changed how they are guarding Harris in recent weeks. They've pretty much ignored him all year.

Dave is who draws double teams/gets helped onto due to players sagging off of DH. Not Och.
