The democrats could certainly win in 2024, but only if Biden isn't the guy running. If you think Biden is going to repeat, well... not much I can do to awaken your consciousness.

Biden can win, and will, if it's against Trump.

If it is Biden against Desantis then I think Biden will lose.

Florida Man may be a better nickname than DDD. I wish I had thought of it.

Mike Pence, the “no drama dark horse” for 2024. I like Ike, I mean Mike.

The Rs are in quite a bind. Trump probably can't win in the general...but he probably can't lose in the primaries.

I mean, I don't know jack squat, but I think it's going to be Desantis. I think Trump and that whole ideology of everything being rigged is tiring on many.

Comments like this make me wonder if Dems think it’s in their best interests to have Trump remain a free man, at least for the next 22.5 months or so

huh? DeSantis is polling at something like 68% while Trump is in the low 30s among R voters.

DeSantis is awful , Trump is awful. Biden is awful.

All our hopes lie in a primary upset by an unknown moderate Democrat or a miraculous emergence of a 3rd party candidate.

I don’t think the polling is very reliable, in terms of Trump’s true base.

I get it. And the inverse is true on the R side. I think the Rs have a great shot in the next general, if Trump is sidelined (and cannot mount an independent run).

Other than your own partisan preference, why do you think Biden is awful? He has accomplished a lot in two years. Yes, inflation is high but that is a worldwide problem. You may not prefer him, and that’s understandable.

i dont have a partisan preference...ive voted D, R, Libertarian, independent and numerous other small party affiliations in my life (including some far left leaning people ie green party etc in smaller elections).

Ive never voted for trump, hillary or Biden. They all suck.

Biden is a career politician who has done nothing, changed nothing and been nothing in 40 years. He's a coattail rider who has proven in his career he cares for very little besides doing what he needs to to continue his politician career. He was given the D nomination last election cycle against every model and the way everything was trending. He seems lost half the time and he is an absolutely terrible public speaker. He isn't a leader, he's not a trendsetter, he's nothing but a party line toeing, follower. Not fit to lead the country in my opinion.

i agree with a lot of that, but i also think Biden has gotten more done in his presidency than he’s often given credit for

i also think he’s fucked up some key opportunities

i’d probably give him a B- if i’m being generous

Hello, President Pete
