just stumbled upon a transfer portal site that actually lists each player’s proposed NIL value

felt kinda gross
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

Last two national champs consisted of starting lineups with ALL returning players (no new non-redshirt transfers or freshmen).

I think playing together for more than a year is really underrated due to the media's obsession with transfers and freshmen. As well as fans' overvaluing of anyone they haven't seen play much.

Yeah, but isn’t K-state, who has all new players (and coach)only 1/2 of 1/2 of 1/2 less 1/3 the way to the pinnacle of the sport?

And, Is Ernest/Udeh/KJ enough of a front court stable? Especially if KJ might play more 4 anyway?

I kinda think so, but also kinda think that's one (heaven forbid) injury or Laura Bauer or something away from being pretty thin.

But I guess that's one of those problems you really don't have to worry about unless it happens.

Besides, we only play 1 true big any more anyway.

Besides besides, we had 4 true bigs on our roster this year, and hardly played any of them!

You know what you have with KJ. Ernest is getting there. Zubi will get there. Would like to see them pick up one more.

yea, maybe.

maybe this is optimistic fanboyism, but I think I'm comfortable enough with what we've seen from Ernest to pencil him in as a 25+ mpg starter next year, and Zuby as the 10-15mpg backup big. (assuming we're going with 2 true bigs for our rotation, instead of playing the matchup game with KJ and/or just keeping him there jumping center since he did this year, potentially)

but, yeah, maybe one more.

But should that one more be some young dood to develop, or some more seasoned transfer? Maybe somewhere in between (underclassman transfer with still 2-3+ years of eligibility)

If there's a seasoned transfer available that fits the need, it would be hard to pass him up.
