poor uk
(their losses aren’t nearly as delicious without cal)
They are 5 wins ahead of us again after the NCAA stole 15 wins from Self's resume so I still savor every UK loss.
but of course

You should be banned from posting any stats.
What are we bitter about now?
Just generally you seem to not know when to apply statistics or facts or numbers.
So I don't think you should start now.
Better late than never

I'm blaming Drew Valentine (their coach).

I laughed.
It was a bad look and I fully expect a statement from the team in the next 12 hours.

Zuby Ejiofor hung 28 and 13 on Kansas State in St. John's whipping of the Mildcats this afternoon.

Never ceases to amaze me how kids develop after leaving Kansas. Case in point - the one who landed at Grand Canyon. And now Zuby.

Remember when I said I’d rather Zuby and Udeh than Hunter?
Stand by it.

Could/should have happened. Shame that's one of Self's faults.

Funny, UConn is now saying that KU goes out of their way to stack competition in their favor in the pre- conference schedule.

"What the fuck does this Self guy know?"
That's pretty much what I said in response when pdub originally said he would rather have rather have Zuby and Udeh than Hunter.

i know you like anecdotes, but there’s plenty more examples of kids NOT developing, eventually blowing their shot after leaving

Yesufu
Pettiford
Mj Rice
Anrio Adams
The kid who transferred to BYU (don't remember name).
Frankamp
The list might be longer of guys that didn't develop that those who did. Grimes is probably the best success story that comes to mind.
Zuby comes with his own issues. He's having a great year. But do we really want a 6'9 center?
Udeh, is offensively limited. Pairing him with DH and KJ isn't ideal.
We weren't going to keep both. Not sure which I'd have rather had looking back.
I prefer HD over both. Especially since we got 2 years out of HD.

pining over guys who, at least from the outside, appear to have simply quit and didn’t want to compete
it’s odd
and yes, i guarantee the list is longer of those who failed (relatively speaking), than succeeded after transferring
edit: lol at comparing success at Grand Canyon to KU…just silly

OTOH, having a center who could move his feet on defense would be a plus.
