Meh
I get what you are saying, except what is the point of granting a free 4th timeout if the guy comes back on the next play. Rule adjustment needed. Felt very Al Davisy
He could have faked it, but his body contorted, hyperextended, and went this on the turf on that play.
I think the rule should keep a guy from coming back. For player safety at least. The clock drives football. Definitely an advantage that should be removed.

The false starts are league wide and are ridiculous.

NFL is definitely a guilty pleasure. I’m a sinner.

Shouldn't have come down to that last play - and some people are saying the Chiefs got lucky.
Sure, sometimes teams win because they get/got lucky, and while no doubt the Chiefs sometimes benefit from being lucky, they primarily win because they're damn good and have heart.

No doubt, but tribalism!!!!! I dislike it even when it’s not fans of my team doing it :)

And what’s the saying? Luck=preparation + opportunity?

Maybe week one, with reduced offseason prep, the influence there wasn’t so great, but The influence of players like Mahomes, Kelce, and last night Worthy no doubt provided plenty of opportunity to more than make up for time lost.

Woulda coulda shoulda.

If he'd have thrown a good pass to Flowers (iirc) instead of 4 yards behind him and over his head when he was wide open in the end zone it wouldn't have mattered.

Too bad. So sad.

LOL! Fans who care? Oh noes!
Fans saying the refs and the NFL are writing the script for the Chiefs to win.

I didn’t like the officials involvement tonight but I don’t think there were any egregious calls.
The no call on the late hit out of bounds on Mahomes was egregious and a couple of blatantly obvious false starts on the Chiefs penalty machine, Jawaan Taylor, were missed that could have been made.

I guess we have a different definition of egregious.

If luck went the Chiefs way a few more times then they win by 2-3 touchdowns instead of one. The drops by Pacheco and Kelce in the red zone definitely turned TDs into field goals.

JuJu was also really close to bringing a tough catch in.

No doubt. If the Chiefs lost, more people would call that missed late hit egregious. No worries, KC won despite that likely being one of Mahomes bottom 5 games on the season. Baltimore is really good and that win will help come playoff seeding time for sure.

It was a missed late 'hit' call but not outstandingly bad/shocking imo.
Mahomes sold the hell out of it, there was barely contact, so it wasn't, 'holy shit how in the hell did they not call that' more, well, they probably shoulda called that one.
We also benefited from the nonsense that is roughing the passer ( touching the QB's helmet with your arm ).

The rules to protect the QB are out of control and have been for a while now.

They are a bit over the top but overall, I don't want to watch Carson Wentz lead this offense for more than a drive here and there at the end of a blowout.
