Read Feral's transcript aloud to a friend this afternoon and we both laughed until we cried. Then reread some sentences and laughed some more.
We got lucky, it missed Puerto Rico. It hit the Virgin Islands.
So, sitting in the dark and heat in the Virgin Islands, looking out on destroyed boats and buildings, I'm sure I'd feel lucky.
It does seem almost certain that it's hitting dead center.
Trying to remember a hurricane that didn't make landfall at dead center.
But it looks to me like this time, it's heading in one direction.
Are there hurricanes that head in two directions? Or the really dreaded four and five direction ones?
It looks like the winds are gonna be unbelievably high.
Uhhh, that's why they call them hurricanes.

Does this mean that once and for all, like "family values", "law and order", "conservative", "fiscal responsibility", "small government", "moral majority", et al labels republicans bestowed on themselves that we don't have to take seriously anymore, we no longer have to suffer republicans whining and clutching their pearls every time a democratic president uses executive privilege?
