Just watched the recording.
Shameful.
We play like this we will leave the World Cup with one point and no goals.
Arriola? Why?
Where was McKennie and Dest?
Couldn’t get the ball to your forwards.
Wooooof.
I blame the jerseys.

Top USMNT cheerleader Stu Holden was even getting pissed on the broadcast.
Paraphrased quote with 10 minutes or so to go..
"I've seen nothing here from these 2 games that you can even build off of. You can't say 'The US is doing a great job of this, the results just aren't there yet.' They're doing nothing of substance that you can do anything with."
Then said as the play-by-play guy said something to him. "I haven't really paid attention to anything going on as I'm going on a tear"

They didn't have one legitimate scoring chance.
A deep ( albeit pretty well placed ) shot from Adams and a one touch from Ferreira was about it.
I am not counting Arriola's LOL of a whiffer into the stands.
So no scoring chances.
Against Saudia Arabia.

Yes sir.
They didn't look bad zoomed out bc a. tie die just blends together from a distance and b. the feed was kinda shitty.
But oh boy, when you zoomed in.

Yedlin might have been the best player on the field last night.
Had a bad header in his own third but other than that, moved well down the line, had a few good crosses that weren't handled well by his teammates, and drew what shoulda been a red card with his speed.
I think Yedlin, if he's not hurt, is a lock to go to Qatar.
Not really all Pepi's fault, but he didn't show anything last night.
I think he needed to do something - he might be cut.

No Yedlin, Arriola or Morris.

Yedlin should be going.
He was one of the best, if not the best guy yesterday.
I could definitely do without Arriola but Berhalter has a crush on him.

Fullbacks need to be Dest, Robinson, Scally and Cannon.

Well you’re gonna be disappointed bc I think Yedlin is a lock.

I am 100% confident that Gregg will fuck this up. It’s been his MO for a while now.

I think he will too but bringing Yedlin would not be a reason why. He’s played well for the international team and has been to a World Cup. That’s also the general consensus in the soccer community.
As far as Jordan Morris, I don’t think he’d see more than five minutes. He would be a “well we don’t have a chance let’s see what this guy does”.
Arriola…I unfortunately think he will be a guy off the bench who sees more time than he should.

Scally looked good in his limited action Tuesday. Still just 19 too. Forgot he was that young.

Yeah, and Cannon gives you versatility. Yedlin gives you nothing really. Had a lot of potential when he was young and he used to have near elite speed but that’s faded. He’s crashed out of Europe for a reason.

This is completely false ( he still has elite speed - dunno if you have watched him play for the USA this year ) but I know you have some weird issue with him.

He's fast, but he doesn't have the elite speed he did in his early to mid 20's.
Yedlin doesn't have the technical ability to hang with WC caliber players. Again, there is a reason why he crashed out of Europe. Dest, Robinson, Scally, Cannon are all better players. Even Bello and Vines are probably better at this point.
But, the US always has to include a few MLS duds on every WC roster, so I won't be surprised if Yedlin makes the squad.
