Bernie is awful. He will do nothing but divide the country even more than it is already. If the options are bernie vs trump we all lose.

A Burnie nomination will guarantee four more years of DJT.
I thought the same thing when Trump was running against Clinton. I have no crystal ball to predict who would win, but I wouldn't underestimate Bernie. Vegas had Trump winning just before the election, so I'll look to that for the best possible predictor.
I won't be crushed if Burnie wins. I'm sick of DJT's act, and Congress will not allow him to implement any of his socialist schemes anyway. Plus, he's not AOC or Dowdy. Anything is better than that.
People might just vote for him just to see if it will crash the stock market. The thing that's frustrating about Trump is that he called out all the problems of the bubble economy before he was elected, but now he's pretending that the bubble doesn't exist. Sanders will likely struggle to pass a lot of changes just like Trump, so maybe things won't become too crazy. AOC being a future president scares the shit out of me, and it might happen.

If AOC becomes POTUS, Idiocracy will become literal prophecy and the United States will cease to exist as we know it.

50 years ago people like yourself were saying the same thing about a Black man being elected President.

Idiocracy became the norm three years ago.

"Like myself"? What is that supposed to mean?

People who prefer qualified candidates with actual real-world experience?

People who can get through an entire sentence without using the work "like"?

People who know what it means to earn a living in the real world?

Not quite all of us. The media are salivating over the stories, the bylines, the breaking news stories on TV, the TV ratings that Bernie v. Trump would bring. And their increased salaries.

Trump is all that??? What/when was the last grammatically correct full sentence that he uttered? At least when Giuliani spoke there was "a noun, a verb, and 9-11". When Trump speaks there are lies and ?????????

What "real world" experience does Trump have besides money laundering and bankruptcy - how does one bankrupt a casino? If you mean getting prosecuted for racial discrimination is real-world experience then I guess Trump is your man.

It's pretty amazing how many conservatives on this site have a great feel for what would happen if certain Dems get elected.

Bernie's been in politics for four decades.

It doesn't exactly take a tarot card reader.

So I'm wondering... The narrative of who has a shot to win the nomination is being driven by polls. So far the polls have been pretty accurate for Bernie, overvalued Biden, and undervalued Pete and Amy in the two races with actual results.

That's because Biden's demographic is far more likely to answer a call from an unknown number than Amy and Pete's, right?

And here ends the Bloomberg boomlet.

Not even 60 billion can turn you into NOT Mike Bloomberg.
