LOL

Iran scores a goal to get it to 4-1. Massive subs come in for England. Rashford's first touch of the ball is an easy one to make it 5-1.

Man they're talented.

England looks great but I'm not sure this game changes anything as far as the USA's chances of getting out of the group. The best path is still beat Wales and beat Iran. Get 6 points and whatever happens vs. England really doesn't matter. But you definitely have to win those other 2 games.

I do think Iran's troubles within their own borders are wearing down the players. They are protesting as well as playing. Tough situation with them.

Let me ask this:

Let's say we come out this afternoon and get a win vs. Wales. Would you feel okay with rotating a few starters Friday vs. England so you have your complete first choice 11 ready for Iran? I would. But that's because we have probably 14 or 15 players I'd feel good about starting at this point. Most of that depth is in attacking positions though.

100%. You save up for the Wales and Iran matches knowing if you win those 2, you are going through regardless of England result. The only thing that may throw some things off is if the US wins by quite a few today. But the GD that England had today may make it impossible.

You either win the group and play Senegal or Ecuador or you get 2nd and you play the Netherlands

Senegal kind of controlled that first half against the Dutch.

More shots, more SOG, Dutch controlled possession more.

Kind of surprising.

Senegal just ran out of gas. It was arguably much closer than the 2-0 final score.

Senegal the 2nd best team of the group, I believe.

Weah starting on the right wing over Reyna/Aaronson.

Sargent gets the nod at striker.

Ream is the left center back over Aaron Long.

Strong 11. Wales is going to sit back and let us have the ball, see if we can break them down, and try to hit us on the counter. Can't get caught forward.

Sargent has not been good for the USMNT. Don’t like that.

I think since Reyna has been in and out of play this year his not starting makes sense.

Love the lineup. Would prefer to have a top line of Pulisic as LW, Reyna as a false 9 and Aaronson as the RW, but this will do.

Gregggggg seems to be going for who is in best current form, not how they've been for the USMNT in the past.

US controlling like crazy.

Have to protect against the typical Bale counter.

My goodness does the US team looks sharp and so much better than Wales. Wales never had a serious opportunity that half.

66% possession. More shots and SOG. Just fantastic play.

Shit. Such a dumb penalty. He panicked once he knew it was Bale.
