Life of grandma in a nutshell....
On the elevator in my building. A few of us and we stop on a floor. Doors partially but not completely open. I tell the people it’s not unusual for it to happen on this particular elevator.
Someone says they “just moved in” and asks me how long I have lived in the building. I say 12 years. A very attractive woman (as attractive as can be with a mask on) asks me if she can ask me a question. Of course - I tell her she can. It was building related. We get down to the ground floor and continue our conversation. She without prompting says - let me give you my number—and she does. She tells me her name is Meaghan and it’s nice to meet me. We both walk outside and are still talking. She lights up a cigarette (not a deal breaker for me). She then says, “my fiancé is an attorney”. WHAT?!?!
Dumb me (who is usually pretty observant) hadn’t looked at her hand before and noticed the ring on her finger.

Bummer!

Some women wear mens sneakers. Far less men wear womens sneakers.

I am having a bit of a dilemma and can use some advice. I am confident I am going to get a harsh response or two but I can deal with it. I fully admit there are a pair of WOMENS Jordans that are coming out soon that I am considering buying - and would possibly/probably wear on occasion.

Dave Chappelle hosting SNL tonight. Looking forward to his monologue - and the rest of the show.
Might be the first time I will watch the show in its entirety in years.

Sooooo. Did anyone watch SNL last night?
Easily one of the most controversial monologues and complete shows in the history of SNL.
Got VERY dark and serious at times - when most people feel it's supposed to be a comedy show.
Of course I realize how politically one sided it's become but that was some strange shit last night. Really strange.

Just realized something. I rewatched the Foo Fighters performance of the song Shame.
I was looking at the back up singers and the heavier one (don't know how else to differentiate the two) looked familiar.
Yep, it's someone I have met and had drinks with. I didn't drink but a few of us went out - her best friend was a former co-worker of mine.
Her name is Sarah Wells. I had no idea she sang let alone backup vocals for the Foo Fighters.
