I like it because it hypothetically prevents those time wasting tactics.
When I used to ref, if players pulled that kinda stuff, i'd mentally double the amount of time in my head to add to the end.

I also like seeing 90 mins of full play, but it's going to be nerve-wracking when a team I root for is up a goal at the 90th and they hold up a sign that says 16 minutes.

Socceroos went inches from being up 2-0 to down 2-1 like that.

Qatar is banning rainbow clothing in/around the stadium when they said they wouldn't.
I mean, we all saw this coming.
Better way to protest, instead of wearing rainbow clothes to the game, would be not paying thousands to go.

During a normal World Cup, FIFA is running the show. FIFA has no control. They sold their souls for this and turned over all control to Qatar.

Today's slate kind of sucks. Tomorrow's slate though is going to be an absolute banger.
Swiss and Cameroon
Uruguay and Korea
Portugal and Ghana
Serbia and Brazil

Yeah I guess today you have a shot at some upsets of some powers, but that’s it.
Doing Friendsgiving this year as can’t get to family thanksgiving. I.e. lots of World Cup, KU, and NFL tomorrow. Gonna be great.

Germany the better team for most of the match - possession heavily in the Germans favor and I think the shots on goal was something like 9 to 1 before Japans first goal - but Japan's strategy worked.
That's soccer.

Love that Davies is starting for Canada. The man deserves it. He brought Canada soccer to some new heights.

Canada has come out swinging. Unfortunate that Davies missed the PK.

Missing Lukaku today looming large so far. They are so good on D and in the midfield but their attacking third will lack.
But Canada is taking it to them.

My word is Canada an absolute blast. They're not even that technical. They just attack in waves.
