Without also being a Taiwan expert like I should be, it just generally rubbed me the wrong way to hear my own gummint is upping a military presence in yet another country I can’t even find on a map.

There was also a mass walkout by delegates after the Russians spoke

There’s also stories of anti-war/anti-NATO peace protests happening all across the western world, including even in DC (giggity)
but let’s call those stories unverified, cuz I’m struggling to find any reports about its from credible western media, besides one clip on MSNBC showing footage of the DC protest but calling it a “pro-Russia rally”

For anyone wanting to see some Ukrainian culture up close, Dakhbrakha is touring again. They will be in the Polsky Theater at JCCC tonight. If you haven't seen a show there before, the acoustics in the place are incredible. This is perfect music to see in that venue. Expect to see some Ukraine flag waving tonight.
