it looked like his foot detached from his leg at his ankle in the replay.

Now it's KC that gets two more days of rest headed into the game at Buffalo. A lot hinges on the health status of Buffalo LB Terrel Bernard and whether or not he can go with his injured ankle. X-rays were negative but he'll get an MRI today.

KC was playing poorly the last time they met and they were a WR offsides call away from winning. Now KC is playing better and seems to have some of their swagger back. I feel weirdly more confident this week than I thought I would.

Yeah, I'd be stunned if even if he "just" has a sprained ankle if he was able to go this week. That looked like something that would swell like an MFer.

That two days is a BIG deal.

The irony. But the additional prep Buffalo did last time is still operational. Will be a close game.

An ankle sprain can keep NFL players out for over a month.

Sorry but I’m hoping it’s closer to that type of injury.

Chiefs vs Buffalo was a close game last time. Mahomes is pissed at the world about the last game.
Pacheco is back, and Buffalo is dinged up even more than before.
In a game expected to be decided by < 1 a field goal, the Bill's placekicker has lost his mojo.
I know what my heart wants. My money is going to stay in my pocket.

In guessing Romo will be on this call.
How is he going to handle both Mahomes and Allen?
Hes gonna need a change of pants before kickoff.

Correct. It's Nantz and Romo.

Did I ever tell you guys about the time I hung out with Nantz at Deer Valley Ski Resort in Park City, Utah?

I don't recall it if you did. When you met him did he say, "Hello friends"
If you hung out with him two different times at Deer Valley he could have called hanging out with you "A tradition unlike any other".

Chamarri Conner ( our 4th rounder ) is starting to get some play.
Still think we coulda gotten Rice AND Jordan Battle ( OR Rice and traded up to get Achane - though Pacheco has been good this year ) who had a good season for Cincy.

Looks like we did our jobs just fine:

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/nfl-p ... 02a6&ei=20

"Sports Illustrated's Jimmy Traina highlights a potential loss of 10 to 12 million viewers, a deduction made evident when compared to other games ratings. For instance, the Green Bay Packers' victory over the Dallas Cowboys aired on FOX, attracting a remarkable 40 million viewers.

Similarly, the Detroit Lions' triumph against the Los Angeles Rams, broadcast on NBC, drew in 36 million viewers. Another game featuring the Houston Texans and the Cleveland Browns, also on NBC, garnered 29 million. Among these, the Chiefs-Dolphins game, exclusively on Peacock, trailed noticeably in viewership numbers."

Fuck them.

I guess I didn't really think/know about the other numbers.
If Peacock got 23 million viewers and the Lions/Rams got 36, the loss of viewers might be greater than 12 million because of the Saturday night time slot.

Saturday night time slot matters a lot (as does Chiefs fatigue, but less of course). I'm also not sure (nor am I not-NOT sure) that broadcast vs streaming comparisons are apples-to-apples for things like bars?

Looking back at this - Pacheco hugging the top 20 RB line - I still think he is for me.
Maybe 17th? 18th?
